MotoGP Marc Marques stops again: what future for him?

The Honda Spaniard’s forfeit at the Sachsenring opens up many scenarios: the main one is that of safeguarding a champion who is an added value for the entire world championship, but who is no longer supported by the available vehicle

The Via Crucis of Marc Marquez continues, declared “unfit” due to the injuries suffered last week at the Sacshenring and therefore forced to forfeit the Dutch GP of Assen after the 17th place in Saturday’s Sprint Race, thermometer of the situation in which today is the eight times world champion. This is the meager Hrc press release: “Marc Marquez will miss the GP at the TT Circuit Assen after being declared unfit due to the injuries sustained last week in the German GP. Injuries that worsened further in Assen”. Injuries involving a cracked thumb, ankle and rib after five consecutive crashes in two days at the Sachsenring. The last two crashes in practice in Assen have only worsened, not only on a physical level, an already very inclined and tense situation for both the rider and the team.
