Cinquina Ducati in the third free practice of MotoGP, with Jack Miller ahead of Francesco Bagnaia, a newfound Marco Bezzecchi, Enea Bastianini and Jorge Martin, in a session that gave great surprises: such as the exclusion of both Aprilia of the top 10, with Aleix Espargaro, 11th, and Maverick Vinales, 17th, who after a great Friday will have to sweat the access to Q2 to compete for pole position. Miller signed the clocks on a time of 1’46 ”992, 30 thousandths better than his teammate and 56 from Bezzecchi, who in the final took advantage of Bagnaia’s driving to get a great third time.

In the top 10, behind the five Reds, here are the two KTMs of Brad Binder (author of a crash in the final) and Miguel Oliveira, then Fabio Quartararo, 266 thousandths from Miller, the best Honda of Takaaki Nakagami and the Suzuki of Alex Rins, who saved himself despite a crash at the first corner right on the last lap.

He had said that sooner or later, inevitably, the first crash would also come, but frankly Marc Marquez would have preferred to wait a bit. On the other hand, at turn 7 here is the classic crash for the closure of the front end of his RC213V, the real limit of Honda. At the end of the session, Marc then tried to take advantage of Quartararo’s wake to snatch a place in the top 10, in vain, however: the Frenchman did not try to attack and Marc even risked touching him dangerously a couple of times. In the end, for him, the 12th time, for a Q1 that promises to be very hot, given that in addition to Marquez and the two Aprilia, the Ducati of Johann Zarco and Luca Marini will also be trying to snatch the two tickets for Q2. .
