MotoGP Free Practice 1 Austin: Luca Marini the best, Bagnaia 7th, Bezzecchi crashed

In Texas the first bullet fired is by Luca Marini. The Ducati VR46 rider is in fact the fastest in the first free practice session of the MotoGP on the track Austin: with a time of 2:03.250, Valentino Rossi’s younger brother precedes Fabio Quartararo, a good second with the Yamaha at 0.150 behind and Johann Zarco, third with the Ducati Pramac at 0.278. Out of the ten and crashed at turn 12, the leader of the World Championship Marco Bezzecchi, only 13th with the other Ducati VR46. For Pecco Bagnaia, seventh fastest time at 0.542, but without having used the soft tire at the rear, adopted instead by the top five in the rankings.

At the foot of the podium is Alex Marquez, 4th on the Ducati Gresini at 0.301 ahead of Jack Miller (Ktm), who in turn crashed harmlessly at turn 12, and Jorge Martin, 6th on the Ducati Pramac.
