Luca Lunetta will be replacing Matteo Bertelle in the Moto3 Dutch GP, scheduled for the weekend in Assen. The accident in the German GP of the Moto3 in fact cost Matteo Bertelle dearly: the young rookie of the Qj Motor Avintia team, involved without fault in the fall of Ogden, had to throw himself off the bike and in the fall on the gravel he was injured at the left knee repairing the cruciate rupture of the left knee.

Matteo Bertelle will therefore miss the Dutch GP and will try to take advantage of the summer break to try to get back in time for Silverstone, scheduled for 7 August. Hence the chance for Luca Lunetta, a 16-year-old Roman driver already Italian and European MiniGP Champion 2018 and engaged in the Red Bull Rookies Cup where he is currently fourth in the championship with two seasonal podiums: 2nd at Jerez-2 and third at Sachsenring-1. For him, now, the important card of his debut in the world championship.
