Mother and stepfather tattoo tied children aged 5 and 9: couple arrested | Abroad

They are barely five and nine, the two children of Megan Mae Farr (27). The woman was arrested with her partner Gunner Farr (23) for child abuse after they tied and tattooed the two.

It concerns a couple from the Texan Zavalla. The case came to light when the children told their biological father and stepmother what had happened. The police learned that the children would have been tied with rope. They were taped over their mouths and cloth over their eyes while the tattoos were being done.

According to the subpoena that US media had access to, the parents then tried to hide the tattoos by sanding, scraping and cutting the skin. They even tried to get rid of the ink by smearing lemon juice on the wounds.

Staple

One child got a tattoo on the foot, the other on the shoulder. When the father spoke to his ex about it, she laughed and drove off, he says. Later, the stepfather would have told him that the tattoos were made with a staple. The police have since received a tattoo kit that the couple would have used, says interim chief James Denby of the Zavalla police.

Together with two other children, the victims were taken care of by child protection. The mother and stepfather are in jail. Their deposit is the equivalent of 31,580 euros for each.
