After the double anniversary, the jump into the top 10 of the Premier League’s all-time top scorers list follows. With his goal on Saturday, Mohamed Salah not only secured a point for Liverpool against league leaders Arsenal, but also overtook Michael Owen in the history of the league (since its inception in 1992).
Most Premier League goals: Salah jumps into top 10 – Kane second
In the 1-1 draw against the Gunners, Salah scored his 151st goal in the Premier League. His 150th previously was also his 200th for Liverpool in all competitions. The Egyptian scored almost 99 percent of his goals in the English top flight with the Reds. His first two goals came in 2013 while wearing a Chelsea FC jersey.
Arsenal is now one of the teams Salah has scored against most often in the Premier League. It was his 10th goal against the Londoners. He also made the same number of appearances against West Ham and Manchester United. Salah also scored two more times against the “Red Devils” in the cup, making the arch-rival the team against which the 93-time national player scored most often in all competitions, twelve times in just 13 matches.
