“It seems to me that this time has now come,” says the rapper about his final album.
In 1994 Moses Pelham released his first record under the name Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt. Almost 30 years later, he is now announcing his final album LETZTE WORTE and with it his last concerts in his hometown of Frankfurt.

Via Instagram the rapper announces that he has been planning his final release for a long time. He writes in his announcement: “Dear friends, for several years now I have had the desire to complete my work according to my ideas before it is too late. I consider this my duty. My work, you and myself. It seems to me that this time has now come. So I’m working on my final album, which will be entitled LAST WORDS and is scheduled to be released in autumn next year. There is so much I still want to share with you and I believe it is good to do so now, as they say, in full possession of my mental powers.”
Moses Pelham wants to say goodbye to the stage with two shows in Frankfurt on December 20th and 21st, 2024. Tickets for the two concerts will be available from Monday, November 20th. on his website to be available. Regarding the live shows, he writes: “My last concert will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in Frankfurt. The penultimate one on Friday, December 20, 2024 at the same location. If you want, there may be a few more shows before that, but on December 21st – 30 years after “Direkt aus Rödelheim” – it will be the end of the day.”
In addition to his own albums, the 52-year-old has also worked as a producer for many other artists (with Pelham Power Productions, 3p for short), thereby helping Xavier Naidoo and Sabrina Setlur, among others, to achieve success. Pelham is considered a co-founder of the German hip hop scene.
Legal dispute with power plant
In addition to finishing his career, the rapper has been in a legal dispute with Kraftwerk for a long time. He had used an audio sample for a production for which he did not have permission. The proceedings will now go to the European Court of Justice for the second time.
