Moscow and Kiev accuse each other of blowing up ammonia pipeline, Russia spreads images of explosion

An ammonia pipeline in Ukraine has blown up and the Russians and Ukrainians are accusing the other. The pipeline, which runs between the Russian city of Togliatti and the Ukrainian port city of Odessa, has not been in use since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, but plays a very important role in the negotiations for an extension of the so-called grain deal. Moscow, which speaks of an “act of terror”, had hoped to restart the pipeline.
