Morocco is preparing for World Cup opening against Croatia

Welcome to this blog

The fourth matchday of the World Cup in Qatar starts today at 11 a.m. with the match between Morocco and Croatia. Former Ajax player Hakim Ziyech is back in the selection of the North African country, after he was not called up for a long time due to a fight with the previous national coach. In Croatia, which reached the semi-finals at the 2018 World Cup, 37-year-old Luka Modric (Real Madrid) is still the star player.

Later in the day, at 8 p.m., the other game in group F is also scheduled. Belgium will then compete against Canada. With our southern neighbors, four former Eredivisie players have been selected with Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Wout Faes and Dries Mertens. In between, the four countries in group E also play, with Germany – Japan at 2 p.m. and Spain – Costa Rica at 5 p.m.
