Rayan, a five-year-old toddler who had fallen into a well over 32 meters deep in northern Morocco on Tuesday, has died. The Moroccan royal family has confirmed this in a statement, the news agency reported Reuters and Arab News. Rescue workers managed to reach and lift the boy on Saturday evening after a huge rescue operation. But it turned out to be too late.
