Rapper Morgenstern (Alisher Valeev) has a new administrative case on drug propaganda, reports TASS with a link to the source. The information was confirmed by the lawyer of the performer.

The case against Morgenstern was opened by the police in Naberezhnye Chelny. The reason was one of the artist’s tattoos. “According to the conclusion of a comprehensive linguistic and botanical examination carried out by specialists from the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University, a plant similar to hemp is depicted along the edges of the tattoo on Morgenstern’s chest. Morgenstern did not admit guilt, ”the source said.

In addition, specialists from the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Narcology of the Moscow Department of Health were involved in the case for examination. They found in Morgenstern’s videos “multiple scenes that form in the viewer associative links between the permissibility of illegal consumption of hemp plant products and success, a loyal attitude towards unfamiliar drug use, and also stimulate interest in the cultivation of drug-containing plants and their illegal use.” We are talking, in particular, about the clips “New Wave”, “El problema” and “Yung Hefner”.

Morgenstern’s lawyer Sergei Zhorin said that the complaint was initially received by the police about Morgenstern’s songs. But the examination did not find drug propaganda in the texts. “Not finding propaganda in Alisher’s texts, the police major showed “creativity” and a desire to punish the artist at all costs. As a result, he saw Morgenstern in one of the clips with a tattoo on his body, according to which he appointed a botanical examination, which established that it was allegedly a marijuana tattoo, which means that he promotes drugs, ”said Zhorin. The lawyer called the situation absurd. “It turns out that with this tattoo, no matter what Morgenstern says and no matter what he sings, according to the policeman, all this will be drug propaganda,” he stated.
