It didn’t seem like anything at all this morning, but a watery winter sun is now shining in many places in the province. The good news? This will remain the case in the coming days. With snow showers here and there, temperatures around freezing point and a decreasing wind, we will have ‘nice winter weather’.
A thin layer of snow fell in much of the province last night and this morning. According to weatherman Jan Visser, this is not the case everywhere, because in Hippolytushoef, for example, it is still green. “There are showers, so that is always local,” he tells NH Radio.
There is a gentle wind blowing in the province, but it will decrease further in strength this afternoon. In combination with the watery sun that shines in more and more places, we really get nice winter weather.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow’s weather will be very similar to today’s. There may also be a local winter shower this evening, which means there is also a chance of slippery conditions tomorrow morning. There will also be room for sunshine again tomorrow and there will be little wind, especially in the afternoon.
This weather pattern will continue for the next few days. A winter shower here and there, but otherwise calm winter weather. Next week the temperature will rise sharply. It is expected to be about ten to eleven degrees: almost spring-like.
