More than a thousand flowers have already been digitally deposited at war monuments and memorial stones on Wednesday. Laying flowers digitally is an initiative of the National Committee for 4 and 5 May. The committee wants to give people who cannot physically attend a commemoration the opportunity to leave a message at a monument of their choice.
