More than 40% of Russians consider Defender of the Fatherland Day a holiday for all men

Last year, the SuperJob job search service conducted a survey about what gifts men want to receive on Defender of the Fatherland Day. Gadgets turned out to be the most desirable: 11% of those surveyed by the service said that they would like to receive a smartphone or other equipment that day.

The second most popular answer is clothing and accessories. This was reported by 10% of the respondents. The same number of respondents reported that they do not care what they receive as a gift.

A gift of money suited 8% of the respondents. Love, care and attention from women as a gift were expected by 6% of men, and the same number reported that they did not want anything as a gift. 4% of respondents would like to get a car or a motorcycle.

The answers of another 20% of men were non-standard: someone said that they would like to receive a dinner at a restaurant, tickets to a concert, sports equipment, a dog, or some kind of “useful gift” as a gift.
