During the climate protests of the Last Generation group, the police have so far taken more than 40 climate stickers into custody.
There “further measures will be decided,” wrote the Berlin police on Monday in the short message service Twitter.
According to a spokesman, it is now being checked whether climate chaos will be presented to a judge.
Overall, according to the police, there were measures involving deprivation of liberty “in the lower three-digit range” during the protest actions and road blockades by the climate group on Monday in Berlin. For the most part, it was a question of identity.
The last generation had called for more decisive action in the climate crisis with more than 30 actions in the capital on Monday. Klims-Chaoten stuck among other things on the A100 city highway and caused traffic jams.
Around 500 police officers were on duty.
