In 2022, 63,686 births will be registered in Flanders. That is 2,874 or 4.3 percent less than in 2021. This is evident from figures from Minister of Welfare, Public Health and Family Hilde Crevits (CD&V) and the Growing Up agency. That is even less than the provisional figures that the agency announced at the end of 2022.
