No fewer than 37,560 illegal cigarettes and 1,748 kilograms of tobacco in various forms were seized. “A large quantity of raw tobacco, amounting to hundreds of kilos, was also found at three of the four locations.”
Further investigation is underway to determine whether or not this tobacco was correctly declared. No arrests have been made so far.
