More than 20,000 households and companies in the Breda area were affected by a power outage on Tuesday evening. Grid operator Enexis reports this on its website.
The report came in at ten past seven. To be precise, 21,264 customers are affected, including from Prinsenbeek and the Breda neighborhoods of Haagse Beemden, Heuvel, Tuinzigt and Princenhage. The fault occurred in Tennet’s high-voltage network.
According to an Enexis spokesperson, the fault was resolved within three minutes and customers had power again from that moment on. Shortly afterwards, customers received a message that the repair work would take up to ten hours.
