Nearly a year ago, a non-profit organization launched the ambitious “Clean Up the Lake” project to help volunteers make Lake Tahoe – a large freshwater lake in California – waste-free. The project is now coming to an end. The result? No less than 11,247 kilograms of waste was collected by divers.
