More than 100 new beers to taste at the Brugs Bierfestival

60 exhibitors are more than happy to serve their beers to visitors. This year there are 108 new beers on the drink menu. The festival therefore attracts an international audience, especially British, Germans and Dutch are present with many. Special guest was Minister of Finance Vincent van Peteghem. He was allowed to cut the ribbon to release the crowd at the festival. In addition to Van Peteghem, Marijn de Valck was also present, better known as Balthazar Boma from FC De Kampioenen.

Chairman Marc Vandepitte is proud to receive so many nationalities: “Last year we could count on 42 different nationalities. It is an added value to our festival.” Also tomorrow beer lovers can choose from the 500 beers that are cold.
