In the winter shelter, homeless people receive a bed, a bowl of hot soup with bread and they can also use the shower. At night there is a night watchman in the building, and during the day they can count on guidance. People can make reservations by telephone.
“People, when they are homeless, often end up at social services, who refer them to us. We have a free telephone number where people can reserve a bed between 11 and 12. And once they have a bed, they can come here in the evening,” says Thibault Jonckheere, coordinator of the night shelter.
