With more than 770,000 visitors, the Bruges museums attracted about 12 percent more people in 2023 than in the previous year. In terms of popularity, the Belfry remains the crowd puller, with 220,000 visitors. In second place is the Church of Our Lady, followed by the Groeninge Museum. “After the corona period, Bruges is once again on the rise, and I am very pleased that Musea Brugge is also clearly surfing on that positive wave,” Mayor Dirk De fauw looks back with satisfaction.
