The coronation will take place this coming weekend in London.
On Thursday afternoon, the office of the President of the Republic announced that the presidential couple will participate in the official reception of King Charles at Buckingham Palace on Friday, May 5.
The official coronation ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London.

The presidential couple also visited London for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on September 19, 2022.
About 2,000 guests have been invited to the coronation of King Charles, among whom are celebrities from different countries. King Kaarle Kustaa of Sweden will attend the coronation together with Crown Princess Victoria. In addition to the Swedish royals, Prince Albert of Monaco has announced his participation.
US President Joe Biden will not participate in the event, as he follows the tradition that US presidents have not used to attend the coronation of the British monarch.
