More hand bikers participate in the four-day event: ‘Pushing boundaries’

The hand bikers who participate have already overcome many barriers in their lives. “You can’t do that alone, rehabilitation plays an important role,” says Hennie Konz from Heel. “I have one leg, but I no longer see that as a limitation. Handbiking has become a passion. You sit close to the ground and experience nature very well. Moreover, it is a lot faster than a wheelchair.”
