One in seven Flemish (14.7 percent) bought second-hand items in the past year out of financial necessity. This was revealed on Thursday from a survey of more than 2,000 Belgians commissioned by De Kringwinkel and 2dehands, among others. A year ago, the percentage on the Flemish side was 5.7 percent.
