Jessie will be a guest in a new episode of our birthday show ‘Preus Lik 30’ tomorrow, Wednesday 1 March.
Started at public broadcaster

“More family than a channel”
In 1993 she started working at WTV: “That was really fantastic. Standing at the cradle of a regional channel, that’s so clean. We had a small team. Everything was new, everyone was new. Things were told to each other We were actually more of a family than a channel.”
Jessie sometimes suffered from the giggles. Both behind the scenes and on the TV screen.
“That weak laugh, I don’t know myself, but I can imagine it vividly. It still happens to me, at the craziest moments. Just before I have to go on stage or when I speak something.
Sometimes I still record texts and then I also sometimes speak and then I think: Kieken! But then I’m mostly talking to myself. Because a life without laughter is impossible. And a day without laughter is a day wasted.”
