The Ukrainian army has made progress and crossed the Dnieper River near the southern port city of Kherson. News channel Al Jazeera reports that Ukrainian troops have been spotted near the village of Olesjky, on the eastern bank of the river. Russian bloggers also claim that the Ukrainian army made the successful crossing. Ukraine is now expected to prepare a new offensive and want to recapture even more territory.
