MOOSE KNUCKLES LAUNCHES NEW HOODIE AND SHERPA CAMPAIGN WITH TRANSITIONERS FROM THE FW22 COLLECTION

Autumn will be cozy. Canadian outerwear and ready-to-wear brand Moose Knuckles is redefining a “tough outside” and making it cozier than ever. This is ensured by the new, expanded collection of the best-selling hoodie ‘Bunny’ and the new Sherpa jackets in the F/W22 collection.

The highly anticipated new additions to the collection consist of 14 adult and children’s ‘Bunny’ hoodies and nine Sherpa jackets in a range of fresh silhouettes and colours. One of the best hoodies in the world, the ‘Bunny’ combines the lightness of a classic hoodie with the label’s signature silky soft and insulating faux fur. And although the campaign features a cameo appearance of a real rabbit, the brand is reminding its clientele in their campaign video with a wink that the collection is completely fur-free.

Shot by acclaimed photographer Luis Alberto Rodriguez and styled by iD Magazine’s Artistic Director Carlos Nazario, the campaign showcases an early ’90s-inspired vision of what cosiness means for creatives on the streets. As part of the label’s ‘Heatmakers’ initiative, which spotlights emerging talent from its own community, the faces of the campaign are R&B singer Kaash Paige, skateboarder Lil Dre and model Jaychelle, discovered by Carine Roitfeld. The fluffy oversize pieces in the collection offer plenty of freedom of movement. The result is a homage to youth cultures’ rebellion against the rules, with the ‘Bunny’ hoodie a fall must-have.

The absolute favorite is probably the cuddly ‘State XL Bunny’ in a roomy, oversized silhouette that can be worn by all genders. As the name suggests, it can be worn over anything to create a statement look. It’s the first style to be made entirely from the label’s opulent faux fur, on the outside of the garment rather than the inside. It is available in both black and the Caramel Café color featured in the campaign.

For women, the standout debut is the luxurious ‘Bergen Bunny Bomber’, the hoodie version of the label’s best-selling jacket, the ‘Debbie Bomber’. An urban layering favorite for women, it features the same real shearling hood trim, pom poms and J-stitch details. For men, the ‘Classic Bunny 3’ has been updated with a monochrome look in dark sapphire with tonal faux fur, as well as a new wasabi shade with contrasting black faux fur trim. The faux fur lining is also fully removable on this model, making it the ideal addition to layering looks during particularly unpredictable weather forecasts in the fall months. The campaign’s playful imagery exemplifies the concept that feeling warm and comfortable can stop you, true to the Moose Knuckles philosophy.

Prices range from €375 to €596 and will be available August 15 at Moose Knuckles boutiques, mooseknucklescanada.com and select luxury retailers worldwide.
