Lequation “Russian origins” = “love for Putin”, fortunately it is not always valid. Thousands of Russians of all ages, in fact, were arrested in Moscow and St. Petersburg just during protests against the military maneuvers of their president.
This, however, is not the case with Olga Plachina25 years old, Russian athlete – is champion in the 400 meters run – wife of Aldo Montano and mother of her two children, Olympia and of Mario Jr.
On the occasion of the celebrations of his birthdayin Chinese style, some of her followers (on Instagram she has over 60,000 “followers”) asked her for a opinion on the terrible war in Ukraine. However, she gave a long and articulate answer that surprised – and certainly not in a positive way – her followers.
“Who am I to justify this war? Who am I to stop Putin? Who am I to agree with either of them? I’m a simple girl. I am a Russian girl and I am proud to be Russian. I’ve always liked PutinI is always pI liked our regime. My state has given me everything to grow up and be a happy girl ».
Olga Plachina: “There is no flame without fire”
He does not pay for having strenuously defended Putin, he went on to deepen his thoughts. “Unfortunately none of us know the truth», He wrote, adding that« on the part of both there is a lot of propaganda. I’m really sorry what’s going on, I have relatives in Ukraine too ».
Then comes the beauty: «But I’m sorry that they give 1000% wrong to the Russians! But there is no flame without fire! My political debates will stay in my house, but not here and certainly not in front of the Russian embassy“.
Olga Plachina, in summary, could also disagree with the warbut with his words blames Ukraineguilty of provoking the Russian reaction.
Obviously, there was a follow-up to his claims protests on Instagram. In the comments, many accused her of to speak thus from his “golden exile” in Italy, where she chose to live with her husband, an Olympic fencer. Many Ukrainians – but not only – have entered the comments, criticizing his lack of sensitivity towards the thousands of people killed in the conflict, many of them women and children.
To avoid being overwhelmed by controversy, the woman deleted all comments and has closed the possibility of being able to write further. Hoping that she will do the same first.
