Yvonne Coldeweijer recently came with spectacular news: a secret reunion is said to have taken place between André Hazes Jr. and Roxeanne Hazes. The folk singer’s soap opera is always a bit behind, but in the latest episode, which was published last night on Videoland, Monique Westenberg already hints at a reunion.

‘It’ll be fine’

Monique indicates that she finds it very disappointing that André’s contact with her sister-in-law Roxeanne is so minimal. “I think it’s a shame that they don’t have contact. He never actually got into a fight with her. It’s not a fight, it’s just that he was influenced and then decided to break off contact.”

According to Monique, it is high time for a reunion. “That really needs to be discussed at some point. I have that feeling that it will happen one day.”

Jinek broadcast

As said: that André Hazes soap opera is terribly behind. In the latest episode we go back to January, when André did his big comeback interview with Eva Jinek. “It seemed like a lot of fun and we were all looking forward to it, but now some piece of shit came out in the Privé about a lawsuit between my mother and my sister,” he fumes.

The result? ‘Stomach ache’ for André all day. “What’s a bit sad is that when I have something nice to do or say, it is often overshadowed by the negative, which is also what my surname carries with it. And it doesn’t even have to be your own thing.”

‘Sis misses you’

Eva confronted André on the broadcast with the broken contact with Rox: “She said today that she misses you. I found that very intense. You will undoubtedly think something of that too.”

André says in the documentary: “Yes, I don’t get emotional or anything. I don’t have that, so I have given it a place that our family is the way it is. It’s just sometimes quite confrontational, for example with a Jinek when someone says: ‘Yes, your sister said this afternoon that she misses you.’ Yeah, I’m not made of stone or anything.”

Emotions

Eva’s comment did reach André’s mind. “I really have emotion somewhere deep inside. If that is said to you live on TV, of course it does something to you. I don’t argue with my sister. Nothing has happened to us that we have cursed each other out and said, ‘We never have to speak to each other again.’”

He concludes: “Only it is super complicated, the conflicts that my mother and sister are involved in, for example… There is someone to blame and whoever that is, they have to fight it out themselves, but I don’t know. I prefer to distance myself from both rather than perhaps believe one and not the other, while it is the other way around.”

“Something is not right, but I can’t deal with both of them, while what is happening there is so f*cked up.”
