Monica Bellucci and director Tim Burton are a set. The Italian actress confirms this in the French edition of the magazine Elle. The couple was spotted kissing in Paris in February. “It was one of those encounters you rarely have.”
,,What can I say? First of all, I’m glad I met him,” said 58-year-old Bellucci, who said it was a kind of encounter that “rarely happens.” ,,I already knew him, but it was the start of an exciting adventure. I love Tim and have a lot of respect for him.”
The couple is now also working on a project together. Bellucci has a role in that Beetle Juice 2, which is directed by Burton (64). The brunette likes that she is now also getting to know his side as a director.
Bellucci and Burton first met in 2006 on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival. In October 2022, sparks flew when Bellucci presented Burton with an oeuvre award at the Lumière Film Festival.
Bellucci was married to actor Vincent Cassel from 1997 to 2013. Together they had two children. Burton was married to Helena Bonham Carter, with whom he has two children. That marriage collapsed in 2014.
