In Doha, Qatar, there are two Fan Zones. The first is set up on the luxurious seafront, in the Al Bidda Park area. It can hold up to 40,000 people, is equipped with multiple giant screens that project matches, hosts international pop stars in concert and serves alcoholic beer. It is the area designed for tourists, to show them (and through their mobile phones, to the world) how fun, open and engaging the Qatari World Cup is.
