Monaco GP second training is behind us

The second training of the Monaco GP did not bring any extra light to the power ratios of the stables.

Valtteri Bottas had to follow the first exercises of the Monaco GP practically entirely from the depot side. The problem of kinetic energy that struck Alfa Rome deprived the Finn of important rounds.

That’s why Bottas was hardworking when the second practice weekend was run in the principality. Unfortunately only Daniel Ricciardon the fierce run-out ate up a great deal of practice time as track clerks tried to pick up McLaren scrap from the surroundings of Monte Carlo’s famous swimming pool.

Ricciardo lost control of his car as a result of a strong bounce. The Auss driver did not return to the track.

Bottas eventually drove his ex-teammate straight ahead Lewis Hamilton with. The Finn is in the 13th place in the results list with about 1.8 seconds of the fastest time Charles Leclerc slower.

Leclerc’s teammate Carlos Sainz was a meager 0.044 seconds behind, leaving the Red Bull brothers Checo Pérezin and Max Verstappen for the following positions.

– Ferrari has shown in this exercise that it has a lot of speed in stock. It looks quite competitive, Red Bull boss Christian Horner said to Sky Sports.

– We have focused on long bets, because this is the only way to get data from them.

On Saturday, there will be one last practice hour ahead of the crucial time trial in Monaco.
