MONACO DUCKS has started a ReWOOLution and now only uses wool from Germany for its sporty and stylish loden sneakers MOD.1 wool and MOD.2 wool. From ancient breeds from Rügen, from local shepherds from the Bavarian project “Mähdusa” and from recycled wool sections from the highest quality production. This results in DUCKS WOOL and thus the oldest and probably most sustainable outdoor material in the world: the loden for MONACO DUCKS. Weatherproof, temperature-regulating, breathable, climate-neutral and fairly handmade in Italy.
Only those who think in terms of cycles can stand out today. At MONACO DUCKS, every decision is made with the environment in mind. A manufacturer was found very close to the Italian factory that produces the new Go!Zero rubber sole from purely recycled production waste. According to the scientific institute “Ecologica Applicata”, 35% biodegradable in half a year and completely in 502 days – provided that the high-quality and therefore long-lasting sneakers have come to an end.
The vegan “leather”, the latest innovation at MONACO DUCKS for the MOD.3 vegan, is also created in the resource cycle. A real ecological composite material is created from the waste from Italian wine production, the skins, pulp, seeds and stems, which represents a real alternative: animal-friendly, free of solvents, bio-based and also made in Italy – what more could the discerning customer want ?
