“Mona Keijzer lies in talk show HLF8 about Nick & Simon quarrel”

Mona Keijzer lied in the talk show HLF8 last night about the alleged fight between Nick & Simon. At least, that was the conclusion that presenter Sam Hagens unequivocally drew.

The news that Nick & Simon are splitting up leaked last summer after a long period of rumors of misconduct by Simon. The singer was bothered by juice channels for months, who claimed that he cheated on his beloved Annemarie in a disgusting way. He would have invited women to his office.

Nick & Simon feud

Is this inappropriate behavior perhaps the reason for the breakup? Eva Jinek asked Nick & Simon point blank when the two joined her at the end of the summer. To Nick: “There are stories that you wouldn’t want to be associated with Simon anymore because of gossip about him and his private life. Does that play a role in the decision?”

Nick denied everything and Simon did not want to comment on the rumours: “No, I decided a while ago, and I’m also talking about over a year ago, to shut myself off from all kinds of negativity. Not to pay attention. I include this under that, so: no attention.”

Mona responds

Meanwhile, it is clear to friend and foe that Nick & Simon are absolutely no longer best friends. Even as their very, very last concert approaches, they are not available for interviews. They never want to be in front of the camera together again. A very strange state of affairs, according to show media.

Mona Keijzer, who lives in Volendam just like Nick & Simon, was asked about it last night HLF8. Presenter Sam Hagens: “Mona, just a minute: how come they have such a fight behind the scenes, Nick & Simon?

‘You are lying!’

The former politician of the CDA states that nothing is wrong at all. “I don’t think they’re fighting. I came last uh…”

Sam thinks Mona is moving suspiciously. “Do you know when someone is lying? If he looks the other way.”

Mona: “No, because I recently ran into Simon in my street.”

Sam suspiciously: “You know the story, but you’re not going to tell it, are you?”

Behind the scenes

What was Simon doing in Mona’s street? “His in-laws live down the street from me and then I asked: ‘What did I just hear?’ But it’s not true at all. You have to imagine: these guys were 15, 16 when they started dating and they’re around 40 now, aren’t they? At a certain point, I think it is also creative.”

Sam: “But you say: they don’t fight behind the scenes?”

Mona: “No, not that I know of.”

“Hey, hi!”

Wolter Kroes: “I understand why it is said, because they are quite cool towards each other. When you see them on stage, too.”

Mona: “But you are a different person. I have five sons. One when he comes in says: ‘Hey mom!’, and the other: ‘Hi.’”
