The Berlin online retailer Momox SE has filled a key position. On Tuesday, the second-hand supplier announced that Tim Kellermann had been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) with immediate effect. In this role, he will be responsible for “all of the re-commerce pioneer’s logistical processes,” explained the operator of the platforms Momox Fashion and Medimops in a statement.
Kellermann came from the toy retailer MyToys Group, where he spent more than 13 years and held various management positions in the logistics area. Most recently, he worked there for more than eight years as Managing Director of MyToys Logistik GmbH.
At Momox, he is now responsible for the company’s largest logistics center in Leipzig, among other things. He also manages customer service and the logistics site in the western Polish metropolis of Szczecin.
CEO Heiner Kroke welcomed the new addition: “We are convinced that Tim as the new COO with his in-depth logistics experience and know-how will further optimize Momox’s operational business and contribute to the expansion of our success,” he said in a statement. “I, as well as all colleagues, look forward to the close cooperation and warmly welcome Tim as a member of the senior management team.”
The company, founded in 2004, completed the conversion from an AG to an SE (Societas Europaea) a week ago. With the new legal form, the re-commerce specialist is underscoring “its international orientation,” explained Momox. An IPO is “not planned at the current time”.
