The French clothing retailer Molly Bracken presented its growth concept for the Spanish market on Thursday. Accordingly, the company wants to set up its first franchise branch network there. The first corresponding stores are to be opened in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao at the beginning of next year.

The “southern European key market” was chosen for the premiere of the new business model because the brand, which now has 76 corners in branches of the El Corte Inglés department store chain and with multi-brand retailers, has achieved “excellent results”, said Molly Bracken. The label has been established in Spain for years and has consolidated its distribution.

The project is to be managed by Adriana Toro, who has been appointed Head of International Development. She comes from the Spanish clothing group Tendam, which owns the labels Cortefiel and Springfield, among others. There she had “managed the development of the brand franchises represented by the Tendam Group” for the past twelve years, her new employer said.
