“According to the White House, some products will be exempt from the so-called mutual rates,” says Voka West Flanders. “These include energy sources and minerals that are not available in the US, gold bars, and certain goods for which separate levies already apply, such as steel, aluminum, cars, copper, pharmaceutical products, semiconductors and wood.”
