FOOTBALL – In Sunday football, a number of make-up matches were scheduled last night. In the 3rd division D, HODO captured the first period title, while Titan in the 4th division D is very close. The club from Nieuw Weerdinge defeated Wijster 4-1 and needs one more point to win the first prize of the season.
At Titan, Harmjan Moesker was once again the big man. The striker made his 19th, 20th and 21st goal of the season, after Titan came 1-0 through an own goal by Wijster.
Most scoring player on the fields of Drenthe
Moesker is not only a club top scorer, he is also top scorer in the 4th division D and the most scoring player on the Drenthe amateur fields. Moesker keeps David Karabed (Buinerveen), who has scored 17 goals, and Roy Supér of NWVV (with 16 hits) behind him. Enrico Schonewille (VCG) and Julian Otten (HHCombi) are on 14, while Jovanni van Dijk (ZZVV) found the net 13 times.
Gasselternijveen to place 3, Schoonebeek on SVBO field to victory against Buinen
In the same 4th division D, Gasselternijveen won the duel for place 3 from Sleen. It became 1-2 for the Nieveensters. Jasper Ruinemans scored for the home team, while Yordi Saman and Rick Hatzmann scored for the visitors, who now have 23 points from 11 matches. That is seven fewer than leader Titan and Schoonebeek, which have played one more game.
Schoonebeek won against Buinen last night. Because both clubs have no lighting on the main field and the match was not allowed to be postponed by the KNVB, the artificial grass of SVBO was diverted. In the same class, SC Erica took a point in the home game against FC Ter Apel’96: 0-0.
Bellingwolde is still waiting for the first victory after 11 matches. With 1 point, that club is the number last. Above that are SPW (8 points from 11 matches) and Weerdinge (with 8 from 9). SC Erica is three points above that, with 11 out of 11.
