Mobility bonus, how it works
The mobility bonus is better known as bike bonus or scooter bonus. It consists of a tax credit with a maximum value of 750 euros to be included in the tax return and recognized for those who have incurred expenses for the purchase of bicycles, electric scooters, e-bikes, public transport passes, shared or sustainable electric mobility services.
The application for the benefit can only be submitted for expenses made in the period between 1st August and 31st December 2020.
Pay attention to the question
To request the mobility bonus, it is necessary to communicate to theRevenue Agencyby the deadline, the amount of expenses incurred and the required tax credit, by sending the model required by the provision in question via the web service available in the reserved area of the site or the electronic channels of the Agency.
The tax credit it can only be used in the tax return in reduction of the taxes due and can be used no later than the 2022 tax period. Within 10 days of the expiry of the application submission deadline, the percentage of the tax credit that is due to each of those who made the request will be disclosed.
How to access the discount
To access the subsidy, within the overall spending limit of 5 million euros, you must have scrapped a vehicle category M1 falling within those provided for by the relevant legislation e purchased a green vehicle, also used, with CO2 emissions between 0 and 110 g / km.
