Born in Bielefeld
Kacper Przybylko has joined Chicago Fire FC from the Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer. The native of Bielefeld will receive a contract with the Illinois club until the end of 2023. According to official information, the transfer fee is 1.15 million US dollars (around 1 million euros). Przybylko moved from 1. FC Kaiserslautern to Philadelphia in the summer of 2018, for which he scored 40 goals in 96 games.
“We are very happy that we were able to add a player of Kacper’s caliber to our squad. At the start of the season we wanted to sign a top attacker with MLS experience and Kacper has been one of the league’s top scorers for the last three seasons. We believe that with his physical attributes and talent for goals, he will be a great addition to building a talented squad for 2022 and beyond,” said sporting director Georg Heitz.
