Missoni appoints Filippo Grazioli as creative director

Filippo Grazioli has been named Missoni’s new creative director, Missoni CEO Livio Proli confirmed in an interview with WWD.

Grazioli has previously worked at Martin Margiela, Givenchy, Burberry and Hermès. He studied at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan. The first collection by Grazioli for Missoni will already be on display at the end of May. The pre-collection for men and women will then be presented.

Last year, Missoni heiress Angela Missoni left the company as creative director. The task was then taken over on an interim basis by Alberto Caliri. According to WWD, Caliri will now switch to the fashion house’s interior collection.
