The Veterans Search Team searched with about sixty people on Wednesday for the missing Yoran Krol (16) from Sleeuwijk. The veterans searched at Werkendam and Hardinxveld-Giessendam along both banks of the Merwede.
It was the second time that the Veterans Search Team looked for the missing Yoran. A police spokesperson cannot say whether the search has yielded anything. It is also not known whether the veterans will continue their search on Thursday.
Searches have already been conducted recently with divers, sonar boats and an army of volunteers. One of the searches was the largest search with civilians ever in the Netherlands. More than 2,500 people participated.
Yoran was last seen on the night of December 24 at the De Pomp youth center in Almkerk. A day later, his bicycle was found on the Merwede Bridge, about twelve kilometers from De Pomp.
