Timothy had been gone for days. His desperate family contacted the BZ, the police searched for photos of the young student. Now he’s back. He was the victim of a crime!
In the night from Friday to Saturday (July 29/30), he was last seen at 3:14 a.m. in a Sparkasse branch on Zehlendorfer Straße in Teltow, just outside the Berlin city limits. Then Timothy disappeared without a trace!
Timothy’s siblings Michelle and David-Lee desperately asked BZ for help, suspecting their brother didn’t disappear voluntarily. “We no longer have any contact with him and we are very worried!” According to his brother, he had booked a train to Bonn, his home country, for Saturday morning. But never got there.
The family was able to breathe again last Friday. Timothy is back. The young man “was found last Friday evening during a police operation in a Berlin apartment and handed over to his family,” said the Berlin police on Wednesday.
He is said to have been held there against his will. A suspect has already been arrested in this matter, it said. However, the background to the fact is still unclear.
