Last night the final of Miss Belgium took place in the Plopsa Theater in De Panne. Striking: there was not a single West Flemish woman in the top five. Juliette Popeye (18) from De Panne and Ilouna Aneca (17) from Ostend were among the 15 best candidates, but that was it for them. The crown ultimately went to Kenza Ameloot (21) from Ghent.
The last time a West Flemish candidate could call herself Miss Belgium was in 2021. Then the Harelbeek Kedist Deltour won.
