The Dallas Stars evened their second-round series against the Seattle Kraken at 2-2 as they claimed a 6-3 away win in Game 4.

For Dallas, the victory was really important, because with a loss, they would have been on the doorstep of the summer vacation against the sensational team of the spring, Seattle.

Stars’ Finnish players once again played an important role. Roope Hintz scored the 5–1 goal of the match at the end of the second period and also had an assist on the opening goal of the match.

Got shot in the face in the previous match Miro Heiskanen was able to play in fours, although he had to wear a full-face protective “aquarium”.

This didn’t hurt too much, because Heiskanen grabbed one assist point. In addition, Heiskanen played no less than 31 minutes and two seconds in the match, i.e. practically every second change.

Also Joel Kiviranta and Esa Lindell got to work when each got one pass. On the other hand, the saddest Finnish news was that Jani Hakanpää was sidelined from the Stars lineup with a lower body injury.

Seattle’s Finnish forward Eeli Tolvanen was left without power points.

The Stars and Kraken continue their battle for a conference finals spot Thursday through Friday night in Dallas.
