Mirjam Bikker attacked live on TV by Paul de Leeuw’s bare buttocks

Christian Union Mrs. Mirjam Bikker was completely shocked live on television yesterday. She was presented with Paul de Leeuw’s white buttocks by hostess Sophie Hilbrand.

Two weeks ago, Paul de Leeuw posted a photo of probably his own butt on Instagram in protest against Christian Union Mrs. Mirjam Bikker. The reason? Her party objects to a surrogacy law. “Mary was the first surrogate mother for the son of God… Joseph and she ultimately had no say in the matter!”

Furious Paul

Mirjam was sitting at the progressive talk show table yesterday Khalid & Sophie, right opposite Paul’s good friend Hanneke Groenteman. Then Sophie Hilbrand decides to tease her with Paul’s white buttocks.

Sophie: “We are going to go to the point in the Christian Union that I suspect is just the bump in the road why Hanneke Groenteman does not yet vote for the party and that is the new law for surrogacy. Hanneke’s good friend responded furiously on Instagram. That is Paul de Leeuw.”

Blurred buttocks

Then Paul’s butt photo comes into view. “We blurred his bare bottom a little bit, because it is still early. This is of course a good idea, we say, from the satire department, but: what is so bad about it?

Mirjam looks dead serious. Is this the first time she has seen such big men’s buttocks outside of her marriage? Can Sophie make this? “It feels like I’m being nasty to people who want to have children, I understand that, but a child also has the right to a bond with a mother. That weighs more heavily for me,” she says decisively.

Make jokes

What does Mirjam think of such a statement from Paul? “From my point of view, I think it is important to also raise this concern and just have a conversation about it in peace. Then everyone can make whatever jokes they want, I can handle that. At the same time I think: yes, just joking… We can also have the conversation.”

Sophie: “I think Paul de Leeuw also means it seriously, right? Of course, he also has two adopted sons.”

No effort

Mirjam has no problem with that, she says. “Oh, no, that’s not the point, is it? But it turns into a joke and before you know it they’re all saying: ‘Haha’, or: ‘Poor Mirjam.’ One of the two, both are allowed, but there is a concern underneath.”

She concludes: “Of course I sometimes have a position that is typically Christian Union and people can sometimes joke about that. That’s allowed.”

Fragment

Mirjam also argued with Sophie for a significant increase in the minimum wage:
