On December 3, comedy star Mirco Nontschew, who recently celebrated new success with the humor battle format “Last One Loughing” on Amazon, was found lifeless in his Berlin apartment. The circumstances initially remained in the dark. The subsequent proceedings led to wild speculation on social media.
When the 52-year-old’s body was not released, speculation about suicide circulated. There was an investigation in the room, which should clarify the exact cause. And these analyzes can take time.
A toxicological report, for example, in which signs of possible poisoning are examined, takes several weeks. Such proceedings can be carried out at the request of the public prosecutor’s office or the family. And only with the final report from the medical examiner can the final journey take place.
Manager confirms funeral and planning for memorial service
Now the murmuring is officially over. His manager Bertram Riedel told RTL that a funeral took place in January in the closest family circle. He left the place and date of the farewell open. “It is important to us that the speculation over the past few days about the death of Mirco Nontschew can stop and that the family can mourn in peace.”
According to information from Bild, a public commemoration is planned for the summer – a definitive last “farewell” for a great (fun) artist.
