A man in Nuenen had an angel on his shoulder at the beginning of the evening on Saturday. He drove off the road on the A270, after which a huge crash followed. Miraculously, the driver got out of the wreckage with only minor injuries.
The man was on his way from Helmond to Eindhoven when things went wrong. Presumably he fell asleep behind the wheel, after which he steered into the roadside. There he then flew upside down against a post by the side of the road.
The photos of the car, or what’s left of it, show how hard the impact must have been. It is therefore a miracle that the man managed to climb out of the wreckage himself. Apart from some minor injuries, he seems to get off with a fright.
