Miraan has a sports restaurant in Gymworld: ‘We also do parties and catering’

Gymnasts, free runners, parents of sports children and other visitors have long since discovered Miraan Samadi’s Mediterranean sports restaurant. But many Zoetermeer residents do not yet know this hotspot in the Gymworld sports hall. indebuurt goes to take a look at Miraan’s invitation.

On the first floor of Gymworld you can go to Time-Out before and after exercise for a drink, snacks, coffee or a meal. But you are also very welcome here for parties and catering.

Dutch and Mediterranean planks

Miraan is a well-known entrepreneur in Zoetermeer. In the Westward Passage of the Stadshart he has lunchroom Blunch where you can enjoy Mediterranean dishes, such as kumpir (baked potato), kapsalon, Turkish pizzas, gözleme (fresh filo pastry) and more spicy dishes. The Mediterranean atmosphere of Blunch can also be found at Time-Out. “Our menu contains a combination of Lebanese, Greek and Turkish dishes.”

Seven days a week, Miraan serves sandwiches, hamburger sandwiches and chicken burgers, as well as sandwiches and roasted potatoes. “These are filled with, for example, chicken, salami or vegetables,” says Miraan. “We also make snack boards with Dutch and Mediterranean snacks with meat or fish, rice or vegetarian.”

Here’s that party

According to Miraan, his sports restaurant is the ideal location for a party, “I have the entire first floor so there is enough space for about 250 guests. We are happy to organize birthdays, engagements and meetings here. The advantage is that Gymworld is easily accessible by RandstadRail and you can park for free in front of the door.”

One euro discount for students

On the same floor there are three office spaces where students can study. “This is a test by the municipality,” says Miraan. “Students can work quietly here and of course there is WiFi. I have agreed with the municipality that students will receive a euro discount in my restaurant.”
